Alicante is connected to Madrid and Murcia by national highway. The A7 national highway connects Alicante with the French border. Additionally, the highway N-34 runs from the French border, through Barcelona and Valencia, to Alicante.
By bus
The bus station is located at 17 Portugal Street in Alicante (telephone 965 130 700). A network of local buses connects all neighborhoods in Alicante. Fundesem can be reached directly by bus using Line 9. Also, Lines 21 and 22 have stops close to Fundesem.
By train
The main RENFE train station is located on Salamanca Avenue. The telephone number for national destinations is 902 240 202 and for international destinations is 902 243 402.
By air
The El Altet airport is only ten kilometers from the city center. There are many direct and connecting flights to a wide variety of national and international destinations. Also,
there are many charter flights.
